Taylor Greene wants to “punish” Republicans who “won’t stand up for the people and against the Democrats’ war against Trump”

Something is happening in the Republican party, at least according to Marjorie Taylor Greene’s viral tweet. It suggests that some Republicans think Democrats will “stop the madness once Trump is out of the way.” Greene added they are fooling themselves.

In a lengthy social media post, Greene started by saying, “If the Manhattan DA indicts President Trump, he will ultimately win even bigger than he is already going to win.”

However, things turned gloomy soon. Greene wrote, “Those Republicans that stand by and cheer for his persecution or do nothing to stop it will be exposed to the people and will be remembered, scorned, and punished by the base.”

The viral tweet is in a series of many posted by Greene since Trump shared he will be indicted on Tuesday. But, the intriguing part about this particular tweet is that Greene called out Republicans twice, all while pledging love for the former president.

Trump did nothing wrong, claims Greene.

In a tweet, a Georgia congresswoman continued, “President Trump did nothing wrong and has always fought for the American people, and we all know it, which is why we love him.”

She continued attacking the government, writing, “Weaponized Government and Political Persecution are new chapters in their playbook, and they will use those methods against anyone who stands in their way.”

Greene added, “And we are absolutely fed up with the two-tiered justice system or rather INJUSTICE system in America.”

It is a war, isn’t it?

In the final paragraph, Greene wrote, “The base has had enough of Republicans that won’t stand up for the people and against the Democrats war against Trump, his admin, his supporters, and traditional values.”

The tweet reached over 3.2 million views and a good amount of comments. It comes after Marjorie Taylor Greene retweeted from an account called Trump War Room.

She added, “I agree with President Trump, and I’m 100% aligned with this great message. President Trump is the father of America First and the only one who can deliver the America First agenda!”

But, despite her efforts, the comment section was filled with comments like, “No one is above the law.” and “Take time for self-care, Marge.”

Warning for the Republicans?

After Trump’s first post on Truth Social, only a few notable Republicans came to his defense. Greene and the speaker of the house, Kevin McCarthy, were among them.

Pence, Trump’s Vice President, said this was a politically motivated potential charge, while Greene initially said, “If they indict President Trump on fake charges, to go after him to try to stop the movement that they cannot stop, he is going to win 2024 in a landslide victory, and then we’ll put him in the White House and he will finish what he started. We will get the government of all the traitors that are serving the globalists and America last.”

Greene is against helping Ukraine, but what about Mexico?

Greene trashed President Biden’s trip to Ukraine Monday, claiming the visit to support Kyiv is an “insult” to Americans. However, not a few days ago, she tweeted, “AMERICA IS UNDER ATTACK! Not in Ukraine, not in the Middle East — at our Southern border.”

She also wrote, “We are at WAR with the Mexican cartels, which is why I’m cosponsoring legislation to authorize the full force of our military against these thugs and killers.”

No one knows what will happen on Tuesday, but it is clear that Greene is counting on who expressed full support to Donald Trump and who is staying away from this mess.

Interestingly enough, Greene calls Trump a president. However, in his Truth Social post, Donald Trump addressed he was a former president.
