“Shrink Washington & Save America,” Declares Colorado Representative, Gun-Loving Grandmother Lauren Boebert, 36

At only 36, Colorado representative Lauren Boebert announced she would become a grandmother. Though she did not offer any updates, her teen son’s girlfriend likely gave birth in April.

Boebert is famous for her pro-gun stance. In early February, she announced, “The Second Amendment is absolute, and it’s here to stay.”

During a House floor speech, she added, “The recent report states that Americans own 46% of the world’s guns. I think we need to get our numbers up, boys and girls.”

Colorado’s Finest

Boebert also infamously posed celebrating the removal of Nancy Pelosi’s metal detectors.

In one of her many tweets, she declared, “I don’t work for DC insiders and lobbyists.”

It further read, “I work for the great people of Colorado’s Third District on the issues that matter most: water, inflation, energy, and keeping their communities safe.”

Boebert has suggested that the Pentagon believes that she’s a “security threat.” She tweeted, “Apparently, the Pentagon thinks I’m a security threat because I oppose Biden’s plans for a woke military. Call me whatever you want, but I’m not backing down today or ever.”

Proud Grandma at 36

At CPAC Women’s Breakfast event in Maryland, it was revealed that her 17-year-old son and his girlfriend were expecting a baby. Allegedly, the girlfriend was two years younger.

Lauren proudly announced to the crowd, “I’m going to tell you all for the first time in a public setting that not only am I a mom of four boys, but come April, I will be a ‘Gigi’ to a brand new grandson.”

She told an anecdote, “My son, when I approached him and told him, ‘Tyler, I’m going to be a 36-year-old grandmother,’ he said, ‘Well, didn’t you make Granny a 36-year-old granny?’ “
“I said yes, I did,” Boebert said. “He said, ‘Well then, it’s hereditary.’ “

The Boebert Family Closed Their Restaurant Last Year

Boebert and her (soon-to-be-ex) husband closed their gun-themed restaurant, Shooters Grill, in 2022.

The restaurant was established in 2013 and became infamous since Servers were allowed to carry firearms, with many having semi-automatics.

Days ago, she retweeted, “Americans’ Second Amendment liberties are not—and never will be—bargaining chips.”

In 2021, the divisive lawmaker went viral after she and her four children posed with assault rifles in front of a Christmas tree.

Shrinking Washington

Apart from adoring guns, Beobert also had a fascinating statement. She tweeted, “We’re going to use the tools we fought so hard for at the beginning of this year to Shrink Washington & Save America!”

To say that the young grandmother’s opinions are controversial is an understatement. On Women’s Day, she tweeted, “My husband isn’t in town today, or I’d make him a sandwich. Happy International Women’s Day!” That tweet did not age well because she announced she was divorcing only months later.

Beobert also retweeted a transphobic post, “RT if you agree that biological MEN don’t belong in WOMEN’S sports.”

Jayson Boebert’s Arrest

But the controversy does not end on social media. The New York Post claimed that in January 2004, when Jayson Boebert was 24, he was arrested for exposing himself to two young women at a Colorado bowling alley. His then wife-to-be Lauren Roberts, 17 at the time, was also there and was told she was no longer welcome at the bowling alley.

The husband spent four days in jail, with two subsequent years on probation.

It comes as no surprise that Boebert voted against the Violence Against Women Act. She explained she opposed the bill because it would secure abortion rights and tweeted, “This expired amendment should be thrown out like rotten milk.”
