Woman Learns the Hard Way Not to Park Her Car on a Man’s Private Property…

Sometimes you have to get creative to get what you want, despite your sincere and law-obeying nature.

A Reddit user shared a childhood memory that showed how his dad dealt with a stubborn and not-so-pleasant woman who was persistently taking over the family’s property to park her car.

The Reddit user wrote they lived in a small street “across from a popular public pool.” They added that parking was “premium,” so they often had “issues with people parking across our driveway.”

However, they would soon resolve them since the family was “chummy with the pool owner,” who would blast the message over the speakers. The people would apologize and move.

Yet, everything changed one afternoon as the original poster was coming from school, “this person had the audacity to park IN our driveway, IN our garage.”

The father left a message on the car, and they noticed the driver was a woman in her 30s who went to get some exercise.

The woman kept parking in the family garage “2-4 times a month.”

The original poster’s father would park behind her, so she even called the police. They told her she should not park on private property.

She continued, and one day the dad decided it was enough. He “made sure she was doing her laps, grabbed a coat hanger, jimmed the car open, and dismantled the passenger seat. Taking it out and leaving it on the curb in front of the pool exit.”

Then the dad sipped tea in front of the house deck and waited. Once the woman opened her car, she had to look twice. However, she soon realized that the “dad had had access to her car and belongings this entire time and done nothing about it until now.”

Upon learning this, she took her seat and drove off. The family never had issues with the woman again.

The Reddit user described it as don’t mess “with a man that can dismantle your car.”

Other Reddit posters had different ideas. One wrote, “You couldn’t have gotten it towed multiple times? It would’ve cost her a pretty penny too.”

Another said, “I would have just blocked the car in / closed the garage on it and kept it there until she came back with the police and a warrant.”

Some were impressed by the dad’s actions, “Your father seems like a cool guy, mine would’ve flipped sh..t and started a war.”

Many shared similar experiences, though only a few people were as collected and calm as this family. Similarly, they were less original than the dad.

What would you do if someone kept invading your garage or part of your property?

Call the police or plot revenge?
