Trump talked about his water pressure and “gorgeous head of hair” during a GOP 56th annual Silver Elephant Dinner in South Carolina, where he was the keynote speaker.
Trump on his water pressure
Donald Trump, the keynote speaker at South Carolina’s 56th annual Silver Elephant Dinner, told the attendees, “You know I have this gorgeous head of hair – when I shower, I want water to pour down on me. When you go into these new homes with showers, the water drips down slowly, slowly.”
The former president mentioned showering habits
“You have suds, beautiful nice wonderful suds, a lot of money, Procter & Gamble, all that crap that they sell they say is good, probably costs ’em about two cents, and they sell it for $10,” the three times indicted former president said.
Stay in the shower longer
Trump added, “It takes you 10 minutes to wash your hair. You know what you do? You just stay in the shower about 10 times longer than you would have, it’s the same, you probably use more water. I broke all that up.”
Trump and water
In 2019, the then-President said, “You go into a new building or a new house or a new home, and they have standards only you don’t get water. You can’t wash your hands practically, there’s so little water comes out of the faucet. And the end result is you leave the faucet on, and it takes you much longer to wash your hands.”
Also in 2019
“You turn on the faucet, and you don’t get any water. They take a shower, and water comes dripping out. Just dripping out, very quietly dripping out,” Trump said at the time. “People are flushing toilets 10 times, 15 times, as opposed to once.”
Trump hinted at another indictment
The presidential hopeful repeated his previous claims, “I never heard the word indictment, then all of a sudden over a period of a couple of weeks, you get four indictments.” The current number of indictments is four, but Greene hinted at another one on her X account.
The former president also went after Biden
Trump told 1200 to 1400 attendees at the fundraiser dinner, “They do this to try and win an election. Nobody ever thought it was possible.”
The big cover-up
He continued, “Every time more Biden corruption is exposed, his henchmen indict me because they want to knock out the bad publicity. Whenever they have something big happening, they put another indictment or a special indictment. It’s called a cover-up.”
Nothing without “deranged” Jack Smith
“If I wasn’t, we wouldn’t be under investigation by deranged Jack Smith. He’s a deranged human being,” Trump said. “You take a look at that face, you say that guy is a sick man. There is something wrong with him.”
Trump asked for help
The 45th president urged Republicans to help him, saying, “What they’re doing with this election interference and the Senate needs to step up. The House is doing a lot of things… They have something on Mitch McConnell. There’s no way he’s doing this. They got something on Mitch McConnell.”
The House is stepping up
Trump praised the House, saying they were working hard and “stepping up.” He added that what’s happening with McConnell is a “terrible thing.” The former president also promised to “reverse Bidenomics” despite the economy finally seeing recovery after Covid, the debt ceiling crisis, and war in Europe, among other issues.
The event was a perfect ending to a less-than-ideal week for Trump
The dinner, held on Saturday, was just days away after Trump’s arraignment in Washington DC where he pleaded not guilty on four counts regarding the alleged election interference.
