Former New Hampshire Republican Party Chairwoman Jennifer Horn called Donald Trump a danger to every American and wondered why some did not speak up earlier.
Horn before Trump
Before Trump entered the White House, Horn was fighting Democrats, accusing Democratic state Senator Martha Fuller Clark of messing with a “sanctuary of voter fraud,” and went after then Vice President Joe Biden on several occasions.
Horn is one of the most prominent Trump critics
However, with Trump’s arrival, she co-founded the Lincoln Project, intending to defeat the 45th president and his Congress supporters.
She announced she was leaving the Republican party in 2020
Horn is no longer a member of the Republican party, and she also left the Lincoln Project in 2021. The mother of five wrote an op-ed to USA TODAY saying, “Where once we stood together to advocate for responsible governance, individual liberty, equal justice and opportunity for all, today’s GOP platform is nothing more than a vow to support, protect, defend and defer to Donald Trump.”
Horn argued Trump’s pro-life stance
She wrote, “To be pro-life means to care for life — all life, at all stages, in all conditions. Trump’s assaults on life are egregious and daily. He demeans and degrades minorities, women, the elderly, immigrants, and the disabled.”
Trump “destroyed” conservatism
She added, “Trump has destroyed the foundations of traditional conservatism and the American institutions upon which our democracy is built.”
The former Republican chair spoke to MSNBC
The host asked Horn about the classified documents, “Just how big of a threat of a danger” this case was for the country. Horn gave a chilling response, “Well, it’s an extraordinary danger,” Horn said and continued claiming it was “really important” to be “very direct and clear that Donald Trump is dangerous.”
Danger to all Americans
Horn elaborated, “He’s dangerous too – he undermines the security of our nation, but he’s dangerous to the safety of every individual American citizen.”
The case of classified documents
The former Republican added, “Every person who lives in this country is potentially the target of harm because of how he handles these documents. Because of how he mishandles classified information.”
She criticized some Republicans
Regarding claims that many are now writing books about Trump’s disturbing behavior, Horn said, “I have no respect for those folks. Because my question is, why didn’t they say something in 2017?” Horn wondered, “Why didn’t they say something in 2020?”
Horn is also not a fan of Elon Musk
The politicians wrote on Twitter, “Egregious hypocrisy from a man who’s been branding himself as a free speech warrior.” She linked her tweet to an article discussing Musk’s letter pledging his company’s commitment to China’s ‘core socialist values.'” Horn added, “In other news…Have you followed me on Threads yet?”
She is fiercely going after Trump
Horn also tweeted, “We’re building a pro-democracy movement on Threads app to expand our efforts to defeat Trump and the ever-more anti-democracy GOP. Follow me there so we can get it done together.”

The former Republican also has a podcast called, “Is it just me, or have we all lost our minds?”
