School Forces 4-Year-Old Students To Stand In The Freezing Cold Without Coats As Punishment For Chatting

The initial reports claim that the children had been lining up inside before a class when the young students were forced out in the cold as a punishment.

The supervising teacher told the children to be quiet, but as they continued talking, they were left outside the Francis Askew Primary School in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire.

A relative of two of the punished children said some were “brought to tears” due to the cold, adding the temperatures were freezing at the time.

“My niece and nephew are both four years old and attend the school. That day it was absolutely freezing, we had just had snow, and it felt like -7C.

The relative added the children were dressed for the inside, “so had no coats on, no jumpers or cardigans on, and were just wearing T-shirts.”

The relative also explained why the children started crying: “They were made to line up outside in the cold, which brought some of them to tears because of how freezing it was.”
