It further said the coworker who ended her life “sent the organization an email.” The original poster (OP) added, “This was her first job, so I feel bad for her.”
The email has not been made public
The OP shared how their boss’s manager will fire them soon but “refuses to let us inform anyone outside of work aside from the victim’s family.” They concluded by asking, “Should I leak the email?”

One of the highest-rated comments read, “Leak it. But be sure it can’t be directly traced back to you. Your safety is important.” Another offered a different approach, “Take a pic of your screen on your phone and mark out personal, identifying info. That’s the only way to keep it anonymous.”

Give receipts to your local news station, this person shouldn’t be able to have a career, and your company should be held accountable for abetting this level of toxicity.”

Some Reddit posters claimed that the victim was mentally ill already, as one person shared, “Not defending your boss, but your coworker was mentally ill. People who are not, do not kill themselves.” Another gave a similar response, “The victim saying that “the narcissist made me kill myself” is just as delusional as the narcissist saying “the victim made me act out violently.” The truth is that both of these people need help, however, society isn’t set up to help these people.”

You must remind yourself of your qualities and always keep an eye on the prize without being emotionally invested in how your boss treats you. Setting boundaries while feeding their ego with flattery and fake smiles might be exhausting, so it is up to you to see if your job is worth all that.
