“He doesn’t care about anybody else:” Trump’s niece issues a chilling warning that he will “bring everybody down with him”

Mary Trump, a psychologist and author, is promoting a romance novel with E. Jean Carroll and Jennifer Taub, and while at it, she gave insight into her uncle’s psyche.

Talking to MSNBC, the former president’s niece said, “We remain mired in this loop where I think a significant minority of people and the entirety of the Republican Party either think something’s going to shift or that they are going to escape unscathed.”

At the Conservative Political Action Conference, Trump said, “I am your retribution.” Many did not know what to make of it, so Mary Trump gave her opinion. She explained the 45th president saw himself as a “retribution.”

Mary Trump explained, “As has been well-established, and as you well know, he doesn’t care about anybody else. This is all his grievance, his pain, his need to fight back.”

Trump’s niece continued, “This is all his grievance, his pain, his need to fight back, and you know, with all of the cards in his back pocket, by the way, but with all of the help he needs, it is his desire to undo whatever damage he believes has been done to him.”

Mary Trump expressed that enablers surround Trump, adding, “On the one hand, that increases his street cred for some of his followers, and, on the other hand, regardless, he will be, unless something happens, the Republican nominee for president of the United States in 2024.”

Mary warned again that Trump is ready to drag anyone down with him, as she said, “If it means bringing everybody down with him if he thinks he’s going down, that’s what’s going to happen.”

E. Jean Carroll won a civil case against Trump, where he was found liable for battery and defamation. She was awarded $5 million in damages, though her lawyers believe that sum could be higher due to Trump’s repetitive statements regarding the former Elle columnist.

US district judge Lewis Kaplan in Manhattan said the civil trial, in which Carroll is seeking at least $10m in damages, will begin on 15 January 2024 “unless this case has previously been entirely disposed of.”

The novel Mary Trump and E. Jean Carroll worked on is not disturbing despite the case. Carroll said, “This is a no-politics zone,” adding, “We’re giving you an escape.”

Carroll is a published writer

Carroll previously wrote for numerous publications, including Elle, and wrote a book, “Hunter: The Strange and Savage Life of Hunter S. Thompson.” The novel follows an American woman who finds love in Italy.

The novel included a law professor

The passion project also featured law professor and commentator Jennifer Taub. “The Italian Lesson,” as the book is titled, tells the story of an American woman with a mysterious past who reinvents herself by opening a coffee shop and meeting a charming local vineyard owner.

The three became fast friends thanks to the pandemic

The three ladies joined a virtual knitting circle, and after some brainstorming, they ended up with a steamy book, “The Italian Lesson.”
